KPA advertising award winners named during luncheon
LOUISVILLE – General Excellence winners were announced in the Kentucky Press Association’s Advertising Excellence in Kentucky Newspapers Contest during an awards luncheon here on May 13.
The top winners were the McLean County News, The McCreary County Voice, The Jessamine Journal, The Appalachian News-Express, The Messenger in Madisonville, The Gleaner in Henderson, The Courier-Journal in Louisville and the Ft. Campbell Courier.
Other newspapers honored included the Bath County News Outlook, Bracken County News, Laurel News Journal, Berea Citizen, Pulaski News Journal, Cynthiana Democrat, The Kentucky Standard in Bardstown, Central Kentucky News Journal, Corbin Times Tribune, The Richmond Register, The Kentucky New Era in Hopkinsville, Elizabethtown News Enterprise, Lexington Herald-Leader, Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer, Williamson Daily News and Western Kentucky’s College Heights Herald.
The Georgia Press Association judged the competition on March 5.
