Border War Golf Tournament

The Kentucky Journalism Foundation and the Tennessee Press Association Foundation are again teaming up for a benefit golf tournament. Proceeds from the tournament will be divided equally between the foundations of the Kentucky Press Association and Tennessee Press Association.

Who: Players from Kentucky Press and Tennessee Press newspapers, Associate members and other interested parties with connections to the associations.

Registration: $100 per player includes green fee, cart fee, range balls, beverage cart, lunch and awards reception. Fees are considered a donation to the newspaper foundations, are non-refundable and are tax-deductible.

Times: Registration begins at 10 a.m./Central Time Lunch, provided by Kroger Marketplace, Gallatin, TN., will be available at 11 a.m. (Central) with range balls and putting practice available. There will be a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

Format: Two-player teams with team point system. One team from each state will be in a foursome. Single players will be placed on a team.

Team Points: Bogey = 1     Par = 2     Birdie = 4     Eagle = 8     Double Eagle = 16

Payment Method: Player or team registration fees may be paid by check or credit card.
