Winners of Excellence in Kentucky Newspapers awards announced during KPA Convention
LOUISVILLE – General Excellence winners were announced during the Kentucky Press Association’s Excellence in Kentucky Newspapers Contest during an awards banquet Friday.
The top winners, recognized for general excellence, were: the Todd County Standard; the Spencer Magnet; the Oldham Era; the Kentucky Standard, Bardstown; the Madisonville Messenger; the Gleaner, Henderson; the Lexington Herald Leader, the Fort Campbell Courier; and the Kentucky Kernel of Lexington.
Other newspapers honored were: the McLean County News; the Flemingsburg Gazette, the Henry County Local; the Interior Journal, Stanford; Anderson; the Jessamine Journal; the Sentinel Echo, London; the Georgetown News Graphic, the Frankfort State Journal; the Times-Tribune.
