Bureau Director by member newspapers and in case of scheduling conflict,
the assignment time is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The service includes checking records
and other documents of state agencies for background information
on stories being prepared by newspapers; interviewing state officials
or obtaining information from state officials as background material

of specific events in Frankfort when requested by member newspapers.
Information available upon request
includes circuit court records; Supreme Court decisions; and decisions
of the Kentucky Parole Board. Regular information available includes
Attorney General opinions and decisions of the Kentucky Medical Licensure
