This Fall for KPA's Rockin' Readin' Revolution '08. It's "Heads and Tails," featuring Kentucky's best known dachshunds Woody and Chloe, along with Abe Lincoln.

This 10-week chapter series focuses on money management, history and President Lincoln. The series is written by Leigh Anne Florence of Shepherdsville and illustrated by James Asher from Princeton.

Publication begins the week of September 15 and is made available to your newspaper at no cost. The series comes on a CD, that includes the content, graphics and images along with promotional ads. KPA will also be making available a podcast of each chapter so that students and teachers can listen to Woody and Chloe while reading the series in your newspaper.

SIGN UP BY JULY 30 and you will receive scrapbooks so the students can cut out each chapter and have their own "Heads and Tails" book when the 10-week series ends. Indicate the number of scrapbooks needed on the signup form.

CLICK HERE for a signup form (pdf) as well as particular information on what you will receive. Simply complete the first page and fax that sheet to Kriss Johnson at 859-231-1632. Again, sign up by July 30 to receive scrapbooks for elementary students.

If you have questions, e-mail Kriss Johnson (kjohnson@kypress.com) or call her at 859-231-3353.
